Walking and hiking networks
You'll find networks of walking routes based on junctions in a large portion of the Province of Utrecht. This network can be recognised by the orange shields with blue numbers and arrows. You can easily follow a chosen route by walking from one junction to the next. The arrows point the way. In this network it is also possible to plan a route of your own with a route planer.
Along the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, you'll find the 'Lustwarande network', which offers set routes you can follow via colourcoded wayfinding. Each walking route has its own colour and the route is posted in only one direction.
