You might forget how close you are to the town since it has a very rustic, rural feeling. Beautiful farms, blooming fruit trees and a vast polder landscape with the Eem River in the distance. Ducks and owls nest in the nature, bats fly across the water from the Malewetering and buzzards hunt mice and birds.
